Here's your sneak peek!!

New Releases 4/20

Some new releases this week...

First is my new My Journal Page Set. It comes with 14 papers, a ton of elements, and a painted chipboard alphabet. The green background paper is from the My Journal Kit. I was torn between the green and one of the pink papers since I love them both so much. heh :).

Here is a closer look. i just wanted to show you this one because i love that pink paper very much and you can see a little corner of it.

These are Inked Edges. One of them has been offered as a freebie. There are 9 total in varying styles. I love these edges and use them in my designer arsenal. These are okay for professional-use with no credit required.

Here are a set of Basic Edge Styles. This is a clean edge in varying color options. This is for Photoshop and Elements only.

As requested, these are the leather textures that has been offered as a style file for Photoshop and Elements. I created a set of textured overlays for other applications, such as PSP. It is recommended that your program support multiple layers and blending modes. Included is a tutorial for PS and PSP.

The templates that have been offered on this blog has been packaged and is now available at http://www.digitalscrapn.com/ as well as http://www.artandscrap.com/store. Look for some new information on these sites soon.

The templates are okay for professional-use with no credit required.

If you received the template(s) as a freebie, it is NOT okay to use them for profit. You will need to purchase the templates.

My lovely CT have created some wonderful layouts that I will be sharing with you soon. ;)

If you need information on S40, Scrap4Hire, or other professional-use with items not marked as professional-use, please send me an email for the licensing information. Items such as Page Sets are for personal-use only without licensing. Items that are designer tools and marked for professional-use do not require additonal licensing.

Welcome Amysout and Chromatophobia!

I have added two wonderful ladies to my CT. Welcome Amysout and Chromatophobia! :D

I am so proud to share some of the wonderful work from my awesome gals.

A beautiful layout from Chromatophobia using the new Dreamers Kit.

This is from scrappeehappee using the new Dreamers Kit.

Here is one from Vanilla using the new Dreamer Kit.

One from Amysout using Sweet Pea and my challenge template (freebie). Don't you just want to grab those little feet and kiss 'em. ;)

This one is from VanillaDesignz using To Life and the template freebie from the HOT challenge. My mailing list gets the link to the freebies automatically. My thoughts on this layout? The photo, like the layout, is bold, strong, and beautiful.

This one is from chromatophobia. Isn't he darling?! It's such a sweet layout. Babies are just perfect, aren't they. ;)

This one is by scrappeehappee. I do not know where the Easter elements are from. If anyone knows, please let me know so I can give the due credit. The papers, lace, scallop, ribbon, and swirls are from my Sweet Pea. This was made using a freebie template given a couple of weeks ago here. See, you should drop by often to grab the templates. :D

Using Overlays...beyond the making papers

Most people use Overlays to create their own papers, on top of papers to perhaps give it a different effect or texture, and some love using Overlays over photos.

These are layouts of my son I posted in earlier posts. An overlay was used to create the effect you see. The second one is more subtle than the top. The overlay is actually the texture of the background paper to bring the layout together.

credits:
(top) paper by Phuong Ton (me), template by Kelie Mize, word art is also from me (coming soon!)
(bottom) papers and flower by Amanda Sok, photo wrap by Katie Pertiet, brush by Erika Hite, text path by Melissa Renfro

If you like the second layout, the Kit is available here.

This is a layout by Scrappeehappee. She used my Grungy Textured Overlay 2 on the photo. The papers and elements are from my Eastern Winds kit. The word Spring is made from my Rusted Styles. What a fun layout!

Of course, it's still great to create papers or add texture to them. I have not made a layout in awhile so I am a little rusty with this one. :D

I added one of my Grungy Overlays 1 (my favorite set) on the bottom paper (Girlfriends). The top is a blend of two of my Girlfriends papers plus a Grungy Overlays 2 overlay. The fold is from Vera Lim.

This was the original paper.
