Got photos? Got lots and lots of photos?

Do you take tons of photos? Snapping a shot of every moment? We usually take hundreds of shots at an event and then after sorting them, just a very small handful end up in layouts. Even those great multi photo templates can only help so much. But it would be great if there was a way to at least get them onto a page so that they get printed. Even a small version of them printed on a large 12x12 is viewable.

We have this awesome new designer at ScrapbookGraphics, Studio Arisu, that has a possible solution to this dilemma. (I've already raided her store!)

She's got these really cool actions that are so fun. I am going to use this one for my wedding photos (um as soon as I get them scanned).

Here's a sample she provided

Here's a quote from her description:
"The template has 73 photos, each with a stroke style added and shadows warped by me. Both the stroke and shadow can be removed, if you prefer to do warping by yourself. The action will take your 73 photos, resize them, put them on the template, clip them to the right picture and transform them so they fit."

Okay, how cool is that! You even get warped shadows! Talk about doing all the work for you! :)

There are other shapes and templates available. She came out with a cool number one today as well.

Some more layouts with the July Kit

Leda is on a roll lately! I'm loving all the different looks she is getting from the same kit. Just simply loving them.

Here's a beautiful father/daughter moment...simply love that last photo!

Now this layout is spectacular! Beautiful layering and great shadows. Looks like you can reach out and touch it. I like how she added the close-up photo at the bottom corner.

July Kit Layout Ideas

I love looking at layouts when viewing a kit. It's hard to get an idea of what is in the kit when you're looking at the preview, especially when there are so many elements. Sometimes you just can't fit all the elements onto one preview. Papers are also hard to view. So I LOVE layout samples. I usually go back after purchasing a kit and viewing the samples to get inspired.

My awesome team has created these wonderful layouts for you. I hope they help to inspire you. :)

These were created with the July Kit and Calendar.

This one is by Leda. I love all the elements usage and wonderful layering. It is truly a boy's layout! The circle frame you used there is in the kit. She used it as a mask for the paper here.

This one is by Kristi. This photo is gorgeous isn't it! I love how she accented the layout with the pink flowers to bring out the pink in her dress. Great design.

This little guy is too cute! This is a layout by Danesa. She used the calendar quick page and created a layout out of it. Love this. I just love how she put the flag for July 4th. It's also great to put photos in this spots and add journaling to others. That was my inspiration behind these monthly kits and calendars. :)

This little princess is so adorable. This gorgeous layout is by Carin. I love her use of the elements and scatters. The blues in the flowers bring out the blues in her beautiful eyes and sweater.

Lilja created this beautiful art work using Veiled Moonlight. Her extraction is fantastic (Lilja is one of the best in the whole digi world at this!). :)

Welp, that is it for tonight. Stay tuned for more!

July Kit & Calendar

The July Kit and Calendar is here! :)

July is the seventh month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar. It is the second month of summer in the Northern hemisphere and winter in the Southern hemisphere.

July's birthstone is the ruby which symbolizes contentment. Its birth flower is the Larkspur or the Water Lily. The horoscopes are Cancer (astrology) and Leo (astrology). July was renamed for Julius Caesar, who was born in that month.

This kit is a hodge podge of sorts. It is based on the Northern hemisphere's summer July, which is on average, the warmest month of the year. There are various themes, romantic, a little boyish, tropical summer vacation, and some patriotic items (for celebrating Independence Day in the United States).

There are 15 papers, 1 12x12 floral overlay, an 8.5x11 calendar, and over 70 elements.

Elements include 15 flowers, 1 floral scatter, beads scatter, circles design, 2 butterflies, box, twine, staple, vintage key, word art, 6 ribbons, 2 diamond gem swirls, over 10 frames, 2 journal stamps, 6 titles, rocket firework, felt American flag with pick, 2 patriot vintage stamps, stars, old envelope, old note text, paper edge, metal heart, ruby heart gem, 2 tags, 2 sets of leaves, floral stem.

The month is not on the calendar. The month titles are included in the elements that can be added as you please.

The patriot download is optional.

I decided to give my team a little break this week since they've been working so hard. So I put these layouts together myself. I can't rock it them like they can but I tried. :)

These were all created with the July kit. It's a true Hodge Podge kit.

This is one of my all-time favorite photos. The quote is also included in the kit.

These are my in-laws. To me, they represent what a happy marriage (over 52 years!) should be. I completely respect them and hope that I can raise my kids nearly as well as they have raised theirs.

My two cool sons! lol

Just checking for interest

So the perspective type layouts have been out forever. But I could not help but make little pieces here and there for my rooms. It's like playing with dolls again! :)

When I was younger, I put together a little doll house, not a fancy one made of wood, but a cardboard one covered with paper. My family was not able to afford those luxuries, but it was fine. I don't feel like I was missing out or anything, and I sincerely mean that. I remember cutting out televisions, sofas, tables, and all those goodies from magazines and newspaper ads and put it into my little house.

When playing with these digital pieces, those memories come flooding back. It's so fun!

So my question to you is, what is the general interest of this? Do you like perspective templates? Do you like little goodies like small vases, little frames, chairs, and such? I am just curious. Thanks!!
