Be True - the kit

So I decided on "Be True". It's been awhile since I worked on a kit, and I hope you like this one. Coming to ScrapbookGraphics later this week.

What's in a name?

I made a layout with my newest kit, that will be released sometime soon. I'm not sure what to name it yet. Usually, I like a name and then create a kit around it. However, I'm drawing a blank on a name right now. Help!? :)

Guesting!

I am excited to announce that I will be a guest designer at ScrapbookGraphics this month (August). I'm not quite ready to come back to designing, but will be visiting my digiscrap home on the net this month. There are other guests there this month so drop by often and see who has visited. The list is awesome and I'm very excited!

Just a Hello

Hello everyone! It is so odd to not be designing, but I have to admit, some of the extra free time is heaven sent. I just installed Photoshop CS5. It's just the trial version and I have to decide soon whether to purchase it or not. To be honest, I'm not exactly thrilled with it. My system is blazing fast with tons of horsepower and almost the max RAM yet...it's painfully slow. What am I doing wrong?

A mother duck decided to nest in our backyard. There are seven eggs in her nest and my kids check up on the momma and babies each morning and evening. She's not afraid of them either. She just looks up at them when they come by but basically ignores them as they get closer and yell 'hi!' and other silliness.

Hiatus from Designing and Coupon

Some of you may have noticed that I have not been very active on my blog or added any new designs during the past month. I will be taking a hiatus from designing for a few months. I will be closing my Studio at ScrapbookGraphics on March 31.

This has been a difficult and sad decision. I love the site, the community, the wonderful designers, and all the support that you have given me. But there are personal and family matters that require my full attention at this time. I do not want to retire from designing but I will be taking a hiatus for a few months.

Thank you for all of your support over the past couple of years. But this is not good-bye...just an unexpected turn of events in my personal life.
